Welcome to the Entry-Level Driver Training: CDL Hazardous Materials Endorsement Theory! Adding a hazmat endorsement may give you more options for your career. By earning CDL endorsements, you are showing potential employers that you are committed to safety, which makes you a more attractive candidate for driver positions. The hazmat endorsement, or HME, will make it possible for you to drive for companies that transport these potentially dangerous materials. This course aims to provide you with the necessary information to transport hazardous materials in adherence to federal and state laws and to adequately prepare you for the Hazardous Materials endorsement Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) exam.
